We are happy to talk with you as a potential customer and offer a consultation to discuss options that would work well for your project.
We offer rough estimates on projects that are in the planning stage. We can use a cabinet layout with measurements or your drawing for a rough estimate. If you have the cabinets or other bases in place and ready for countertops we will use those exact measurements for your estimate. At this time we will also need to have an idea of what material you are thinking of.
Consultation & Estimates
Once you have the material selected, the customer agreement signed and have paid the deposit, we will schedule a time to template. Templating is a process that does take some time to complete. The cabinets must be in their permanent location and level within ⅛ of an inch.
Templating
After templating is complete and your stone has arrived at the shop, we carefully layout the templates and start cutting the stone. Once the countertops or your desired project are cut out we grind the edge of the stone to the profile you have chosen and begin polishing. This is also when the sink and or stove top holes are cut.
Fabrication
The next step in our process is installation. We will be in contact with you along the whole project and at this time we will be scheduling the install day. During the install we will set the countertops and do any seams that are needed. We use a 2 part epoxy that takes several hours to set. If your project requires seams there will be an additional day of work to finish the seam and attach the sink. Installations typically take 2-3 hours for an average sized kitchen. However this may be spread out over 2 days if seams are involved.
Installation
Natural stone countertops are extremely durable. However accidents do happen. If you ever get a chip or scratch in your top let us know and we will fix it. Normal wear and tear repairs are included in the price of your project. We will also repair natural stone countertops not fabricated by Castle Stone for $50 per hour with a 1 hour minimum.

We can repair any natural stone countertops for $50 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. Repairs are included if we fabricated and installed your countertops.
Ask us about our custom granite accent pieces like shower seats, curbs, shelves, or even window sills! Cutting boards, hot pads or cornhole boards are also available and make great gifts!
